Afternic a joke

this company mixes their domains with all the members witha $45 paid memberships, so unless you pay additional costs per domain to spotlight them its a useless place to sell domains unles you are willing to part with major % of the sale and have all your domains mixed with afternics own inventory. Its a huge scam imho.

I use afternic to list my portfolio and their expanded promotions deal. I've had quite a few offers on domains coming through this program from buydomains but not enough for me to release them. Happy customer here!

same here, what a waste of money for the membership, expanded promo commission rate 20% not exactly chump change. Every offer I get is someone just offering min offer amount. They need to revamp.

Quite frankly Ive sold more domains at better prices through Afternic's Expanded service. If it costs 20% I just raise the price of the domain by that margin. Ive did about 8k in sales I believe in the past year through them - clearly worth it.

It certainly is frustrating and reduces each and every other domainer's odds of making a sale, but when you think about it for a sec, what choice do they have? List them on Sedo?

For what little it costs to sell, it's worth it imho. Lots of nice LLLL.coms on Afternic not listed at Sedo - nice place to buy too.
