Affiliate program to do this

I need an affiliate program just to track the first contact with a client.

Example - an affiliate sends a client to a landing but the transaction is most likely to be conducted offline and/or several days/weeks later.

Will something like 1 shopping cart (which I already use) be able to handle this.
