Hello

I came accross a site that uses the term 'iphoneporn' in their website title

I am wondering if they are violating trademark ?

This term seems to be growing and is perhaps becomming a generic term

I also have an adult name with iphonepron in the title , but will not use it if trademark violation

Love to know some opinions , please note my name is a forum name if that makes a difference

Arguably. But it depends on Apple to take action or not.

One thing they probably won't allow to happen is iphone becoming generic, though.

if you really use it for iphone apps, but in an adult nature, i don't think apple would do anything, given the content is not against the law. imho

According to USPTO there are 16 live trademarks for the word "iphone" and here is one that Apple filed (may be more) Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) and another one that specially states "Works with iPhone" http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4005:10g6qf.2.11
