I believe Yahoo is the way to go. I'm sure this question can be answered by searching through older threads.

Here is my bold guess on financial websites/domains.

Since finance.yahoo.com is undoubtedly the number one financial site and leaves Google in the dust, the latter now trying to imitate or catch up but without much success, I would venture that at least for financial related domains, YPN would do much better. Maybe even much, much better.

Anyone can confirm or dispute this?

Of course, the general reports/comments I've read about YPN paying better does not limit to financial domains.

My guess is that the difference is a matter of frequency.

Jobs, careers, education, etc. are also very important and very high-price items. Except that you don't get involved with those matters on a daily or weekly basis. Whereas it is quite common to check stock prices, buy or sell stocks, read about them, discuss about them often several times a month, if not per week.

So in terms of traffic or business volume, I would imagine that financial sites get orders or magnitude more visitors and business (and thus more steady advertising dollars) than job sites.

That said, any high-dollar-amount transaction with reasonable frequency is desirable. Careers, jobs, education, etc are therefore profitable sectors.

Similarly, hotels, travel, tours, cruises, etc. are profitable sectors with higher traffic (I expect) than careers, education, etc.
