Ads on HTTPS

I recently installed an SSL certificate so I could use the https protocol. However, I also use google adsense and some other advertising companies which do not go over https. Because of them, both FF and IE give that "some nonsecure items are displayed etc. Now, I have removed the ads on the pages where the actual sensitive information may be (so that it's completely secure - at least for the client's ease of mind), but I'm reluctant to remove the ads from the index. But then again, if potential clients get that message upon visiting the index, they may leave (since my site is based entirely on privacy - see www.mysitememberships.com) and I'll lose potential users.

What do you suggest I do?

Instead of using adsense or related contextual ads why not just sell text links or banner advertising space? Secondly, are your visitors submitting any "sensitive" data on the index? If not then why make it https? I would only go https where sensative data is being submitted or viewed.
