I own Adobe-Tutorials.com. Do you think me or anybody else would get in any trouble if we developed it into what the name implies?

You think Good-Tutorial.com is better? I think you mean Good-Tutorials.com but whatever. Obviously it's better because the domain is currently parked... unless you're implying that it could never be as good because that would be very rude and unrealistic.

I don't have any plans on development myself as I am an amateur when it comes to Photoshop and such products. I'm worried about people asking me "pmg liek it's got trademark issues, $0!!!"

Probably no legal issue here seeing how there are other sites like it that use the Adobe trademark in the domain. Just so long as you use it for Adobe products tutorials you should be fine. However, I am not a lawyer and each case is different. Proceed with caution, always. If it makes you feel better, you should contact Adobe about it directly.

Actually, I have to retract what I previously said. Here's why.

It would be one thing if you just wanted to develop the domain yourself. However, after paying closer attention to your other posts to this forum as well as your sig line it is clear that you do not want to develop it yourself but actually sell the domain to another developer. This is a legal no-no because you are attempting to profit from the domain without actually providing value to the ADobe trademarke yourself. If I were you I'd drop that domain like a hot potato, unless you plan on developing it yourself.

I would refrain from trying to sell it at the very least.

Well, if you are not the owner anymore, no use in worrying about it. Nothing you can do about it, really. If the new owner finds himself in court, what are you gonna do?

Best you just forget about it. You worry too much, I think.

On the other hand, if he sues you for even selling the domain to him then you got problems. He will not win but you will have to pay for a lawyer and such.

Just stay away from TMed domains unless you know that the TM owner will not go after you legally if you develop it to better the use of their product(s).

You know, Taylor, you have a habit of not telling the truth on your posts here on NP. You said that you traded Adobe-tutorials.com for another domain, but it is a fact that you did not technically do that and those of us "in the know" know how to check things like this. Why do you keep not telling the truth on this forum and then not even bothering to cover your tracks? There really is no need for it. It won't do you any good when the going gets tough because you aren't especially that good at it.

Are you an idiot Ebooklover? I never said I traded it to anybody else and I know you can do whois... anybody can do whois and I'm not the idiot here. I said I traded one of my other domains for it. I was asking if he could get in trouble for selling it to me or is that just the way to get around it, trade it for a domain. I don't lie alright and I think you need to get some glasses like your trailer park boys friend there and read things more carefully next time.

I'd also like to add that frankly you picking on me is getting annoying. I don't care if you don't like me but "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". Hate to sound like somebodys mother but it's true. Please don't accuse me of something that I haven't done.
