Adding Fresh Video Content

I will be starrting blog soon with a heavy enphasis on video blogs.

Does fresh video content help you climb the ranKmings or are written blogs better?> Or does it makeno difference, as long as youre website has daily fresh content.....

Search engines love content, period. If you just submit videos you'll find your blog will lack content. I recommend writing atleast a paragraph or two about each video you submit. That way search engines can find content related to that video on that blog post and ranking accordingly.
