Adding a comments section to your website

Hi everyone,

I have just recently started a website but want the opinion of my visitors. I was thinking about adding a comments section to my website. The site i run is not a blog (yes i know wordpress has built in comments section) and am wondering how I could implement a comment section on my website.

I like comments sections on blogs because it gives the readers an opportunity to comment on what you've written, as well as to leave behind their website links (if appropriate).

There are some good plugins for Wordpress to keep spam off of your blog comments section, and I recommend leaving comments off the blog until you have a chance to moderate them.

I keep several blogs bookmarked so that I can read the articles and comment on a regular basis. You'll also receive traffic back from some other blog owners who want to support their fellow webmasters.
