question About PayPal in Canada

Any Canadians out there using the Paypal mc/debit card?

The older ones were grandfathered in because Canadians weren't allowed them
for whatever silly reason....although whomever had one already was allowed to keep it...
but I can't find info regarding Canadians being allowed to get one of these now
...anyone heard anything? Any changes you know of?
