Hello all,
Have you use this type account at enom?
It's cheap 5.99$ for one domain ,I can save a lot of money.
But I donn't know is there a lot of resellers use this?
If I push the name to another account then the new account owner must be a 'Name Only' account?
Is really a good choice for me?
Thanks
Bean

if you're buying to resell, and other owner MUST be name only... then you should rather pay the extra few bucks :)

That deal is really NAME ONLY. So basically, you can't use the site without paying a step-up fee. Probably would create more problems if you're planning to resell.

Enom's name only is pretty restricted. You can't even change the DNS, so Enom is making any money on PPC on the name since it will be pointed at their site. Also, I was under the impression you even had to upgrade it to transfer it. The only real use I see of it is for a defensive registrations.

Registerfly has announced name only accounts that you canchange the DNS to your own and use. With theirs, you just can't use forwarding, email and such. I think they are pricing it at about $6.75 or $6.95.

Thank for every one's advice,I think only a few people use it.
It's better to choose another cheap register.
Thanks

Oh, I didn't know Registerfly had a similar, yet more useful, service. Thanks for the info. Although at that price, you can get full-use domains, so I guess it doesn't pay to use that service.
