I registered some domains during the landrush period but I can´t figure out if I got them or not, nor what status they are in!!!
in the "Pending Actions" -panel under description some of them say "First Step" and others say "Waiting for Go-live starts"...

today is the 17th of march and have not been notfied about any auctions for any of my domains so no clues there about what the the descriptions mean!!

Does anyone else have this problem?? (Im sure some of you do)
seem to me there is not a lot of info at all concerning the whole .asia registration

anyways hope you all got some good ones during the landrush and that your not as clueless as me

They started to assign the names with only one application on the 18th, I didn't got any in my account yet.
But I think the problem is that the registry is currently in a quite period so the registrars can't get the polling messages, therefore they don't know which domains got assigned and which ones not.
The quite period is over on 24th March (currently you can only connect and check domain availability).

As I mentioned above I sent EuroDns an e-mail a few days ago, they now answered my e-mail:

What does the status in my pending domains mean? some says "first step" and some say "ready for go-live start"

The Registry will inform you if your domain will goes to an auction or not, you receive this mail in the next 8 days.

My second question,
When i apply for a domain after the end of the landrush will I be able to see if it is available or not or do I risk registering a domain that has allready been tkane?

There is no working Whois at the moment, yes you risk to register a domain that is already taken.

so guess ill have to wait for 8 loong days to find out that most of my domains have probably been taken during the landrush and others will got to auction for a lot of

There is now a working whois on whois.nic.asia.

The registry started the process for allocation of Landrush applications as planned on March 18 but was suspended. The allocation process will resume on March 20, 2008 at 21:00 UTC.

So you should get your names soon...

Thanks for the tool Rony... I have secured about 8 .asia domains (one application during landrush), not bad. Have pre-registered another 80 that are currently not on the list... we'll see. You manage to land a few nice .asia dns?

We will all be receiving notifications from our registary at the latest this weekend or Monday. DOT-ASIA / POOL.ASIA are a little behind on schedule due to the overwhelming number of applications - these exceeded expectations, totaling over 1/2 a million, it is normal that it takes a few more days to sort the list (single/multiple applications).

On March 26th at 4am, you can register any given .ASIA name that has not been taken during SunRise or Landrush. 1st come 1st serve basis - no more waiting and no more auctions While waiting for GO-LIVE, it would be profitable to start a lengthy list of great .ASIA names that are currently not registered - you can check via the confirmed list or tool.
