well, I'm not sure if you can register these, but --.net, --.com, --.org, etc are all available...

rep and/or NP are appreciated if you can and do register one.

problem is they can't be registered either here in np or in others as well because they shy away from 2 character domains, anyways rep added, great discovery.

i dunno yet haven't done the research on that but as i can recall and as ive just done registering --.com it says on whois.sc it's available but when im on the checkout it says "it's taken" also on godaddy which is my registrar says:

Your Search Results

--.COM
is an invalid domain name.
Minimum length error
Please try your search again.

maybe you got a registrar i'll register there if they can register that for me.

I understand I cannot register 2 character domain names, but why does it appear that there are no 3 character domains available either?
Some 2 character domain names were registered (eg bt.com) but two character combinations are now reserved for national top level use. 3 character domain names are available but, due to their popularity, most .co.uk and .com combinations are already registered. However, you may still be able to find an appropriate 3 character domains in the .uk.com or other domain. format
