Lately a lot of domainers have been cribbing about the low reseller demand for .in domains.

I have been thinking that if there was a thread for all the latest news, trends and the biggest websites in the .in space, it would really help all the .in investors who are not based in India.

The fact is that the .in TLD is going through a major boom with the likes of Google, Ebay, AOL, Vodafone etc choosing it as their preferred TLD and the overall boom in the Indian webspace. The only problem here, i feel is that domain investors from outside India are not really aware of the real scope of this TLD.

Now, if there was atleast a thread where all of us from India could post the latest developments in the .in space, I am sure it would not only boost the currently mediocre demand for this tld but also push many more domain investors into entering the .in space.

A very good idea, i agree with you with regards to all aspects of your comments, I just wonder though that although the .IN ext is a relative newbie on the scene compared to some others that resellers of .IN ext are wanting big returns sooner rather than later!!!

We all know that if you want more in return for what you pay for it then it does take time and work to develop these names. Just think sometimes people expect something for nothing sometimes.

Anyways here is mine!!!!!!!!! Still working on it!!

I have developed few of my .in's and .co.in's.

Deck.in - All about mobile gaming.

Akon.in - Akon fansite. (Not a fan, But Akon is one of the most searched man)

Anish.co.in - Personal web blog.

Pix.co.in - Was an image uploading site but i have currently parked it.

Vess.in - Going to develop a site for my dad's temple. (Vasundhara Enclave Sarveswara Samaj)

CSN.in - A community for my school. (Cambridge School Noida) I'm gonna pass out from school next year.

EyeGear.in - Will develop an ebay affiliate site for sunglasses.

OnlineBooking.in - Planning to develop this and see how much i can earn from Indian booking affiliates such as Yatra.com (They pay Rs 100 per flight booking)
I'm trying to find something so that i can mix up all booking affiliates and maybe provide a comparison of them.

I am impressed from both Anish and Ekal sites. Ekal's in particular looks very clean (did you use templates ?), adwords has been carefully setup and customized but both this guy deserve a big bravo! :)

I hope you mean you're going to graduate. In the U.S. to "pass out" means to faint, lose consciousness. So I hope you're not passing out.

Wow, ekal, that's a lot of work. What sort of revenue are you getting from those sites? What's the traffic like, and what is the CTR?

@thetruman

Mostly done with Joomla. A couple with Wordpress and Drupal.

@clocker24
CTR varies between 5 and 8%.
It takes about 8/12 months for each site to pay for itself (content writing, basic link building). We're building these for 2/3 years down the road.

For the older sites (more than 6/8 months) I've added their Google.com ranking for the city. Most are even higher on Google.in.

Now is great time to develop!

I only have a couple of my .in domain names developed. How does your traffic coming from Google.co.in convert? I really do not have that much luck with it. I am still working on a few others and have to finish off monsters.

Monsters.in
M-B.in
M-B.co.in
CreditCard.firm.in
PenisEnlargement.co.in

I decided to develop www.hje.in Develop might not be the right word as it is more an experiment that I am doing with to see what type of traffic can be driven from social bookmarking sites and the like. Along with that I am using it as a place to experiment with messing with wordpress.
