So i need some help. Is there a site/resource I can go to, and get free advice on coding/site building? Im going to school for web developement in a few weeks or so, and want to get a head start. I know how to use photoshop and basics of flash. I have dreamweaver to code if thats good.

Any help? I mainly need help on coding from dreamweaver to the actual web page coming together/

Read through the XHTML and CSS guides on w3schools, that'll give you a good start.

There are several e-books, search for them it is not difficult to find it. Or read the manuals. :)

this might be a bit old school, but to get familar with HTML so you can at least follow what you are doing in dreamweaver. If I were you I'd go to www.htmlgoodies.com and take some of their free courses.

Go to the getting started section (http://www.htmlgoodies.com/tutorials/getting_started/) and go from there. It's very important to know at least some HTML before going into web design. Hope this is helpful

I really like Andy Budd's book CSS Mastery - simple with great basics. I lent it out over a year ago and haven't gotten it back, thanks for reminding me.
