While I realize there is an on-going plot to suppress the value of .net names on this forum, I for one like them. Why? They represent a fabulous opportunity to get keyword rich names! I;ve heard various reasons why people devalue the .net (network...internet related..etc) but I'm not buying into that :blink:

I don't either!!

Everybody devalued .NET years ago in the days when companies spent mega millions branding their online business' since the bubble burst and everything became S/E based it doesn't really matter.

I don't think there's any "plot" ... personally, I just don't see them moving (or moving for much $) in the reseller space. On the other hand, I've also seen quite a few .NET's being advertised in my local area of late, so I think they may have a future. I'm having a very friendly, ongoing debate with myself on the extension, basically. :tri:

$0.00 -and- Reg. fee+, and in the case of the former, potential TM issue, as well IMHO.

The .net can still fetch diesent values but it is always second rate to a dot com. Everyone knows dot com even non computer people. dot net many non computer people wouldn't know.
Those are diesent names. And you will more than get your money back on them.
