A competitor has copied our content, Pls help ...

First of, sorry if I am posting in wrong section ….!!

One of our competitors has copied our copyrighted content, we have sent them email but they are not responding, Please let me know what should we do now? Inform them to Google? Inform the hosting company or what?

Do you think google will take any action regarding this copyrights issue? I dont think so. If you really own the copyrights to that content then you can sue that competitor of yours but for that you need to have the proof that the content actually belongs to you and no one else.

Send a DMCA notice to the host + registrar.
You can also report to google if they are using adsense.

Yes the host will take his site down. And google will penalize the site so he gains nothing out of copy content.

You should contact their hosting service provider to shut their site down. Recently I was involved with the same case and I contacted the hosting service provider and they shut down the site. Provide them necessary proofs.
Also if their site is using Adsense then report it to Google adsense for the same.
