Considering we have three weeks worth of new sales data in hand it was a but of a surprise to see a Canadian ccTLD beat out all other extensions, including the .coms to take the top spot on the leader board. Peter Maxymych from eMall.ca took the trophy with his company's CAD $100,000 (USD $77,000) sale of Ticket.ca to the operators of Billets.ca. That also ranks among the five biggest country code sales of 2019.

Where is that list from? I see it's slightly different than what's showing on namebio, and doesn't include some sales Loans.ca.

It will vary a bit from namebio and the list I posted is not necessarily complete. I have a few sources for my info and I could post more but one gets the point.

There is no such thing as a complete list from one source.

Ticket.ca

I figured Tickets.ca would have been the on to go with in this case.

Shocking it beat out the .com's in this round.

This is indeed a great sale for Peter. It’s also great for the .ca market and GOOD 1 word .ca’s. Any idea @MapleDots what was the previous .ca high before this one? I know there’s been a few over the years but I was curious what was the previous $100K plus .ca.

The last 100K+ .ca sale was Loans.ca, which was also sold by Peter/eMall. It sold for 88K USD on December 31st, 2017... With the exchange rate at the time it should have converted to around 110,000 CAD. He also sold Loto.ca on the very same day for 14,400 USD.

Notice at the top of the list that jobs.ca sold twice on two different dates
