Here's my honest opinion ...

No, not really.

That's because to promote the Canary Islands in general, you could choose any number of domain names. The important bit will be the quality of your content, i.e. good info, pics and videos.

The domain name is relatively unimportant. Yes, a good domain helps, but it is not critical.

With .xyz, I think it works in this context, yet people will still forget what the extension is and therefore it is weak for branding.

There are too many other names that could be used for yours to be able to command value. The types of people that will build the site won't overpay for a domain, they will just choose something else.

Overall then, I think you will struggle to sell it for decent money.

In my opinion it's a pretty good domain. Hopefully, the .xyz extension will become more valuable.

I do not think so, maybe not every top domain will sell for 5 figures, but at least there are always some little profitable sales here and there.

Check the sales and the names that sell are mainly decent keywords..try buy a premium keyword and see the price...check renewal fees as well..just in case

I agree with some above. Who will buy a xyz? I have one word short xyz domains which I am struggling to sell. You will probably also struggle with this one.
