Hello, my bid of yesterday has been placed after seller posted that the auction was still going on.
("ries" posted "sold" earlier, but I didn't see "SOLD at BIN". the seller posted still something (26$ high bid, BIN at 40 USD), so I thaught the auction still went on.).
Suddenly today i see Amanda's post.
If Ries or seller insist of course the domain is for Ries at BIN. I have no problem if that would be the case (and also not if the auction would go on).
Now I see Ries posting "auction is still on". Please Amanda, and seller, and Ries => clarify, if the domain is sold at bin to Ries, or auction continues.

The posting of the seller "26 S bid 40 BIN", gave the impression that the auction went on.

Do also notify that the post where now we can read of Ries "sold" and a question. "Is transfer possible ?, has been "edited" after I placed bid of $ 27 =>See Last edited: Sunday at 11:47 AM. I don't know what initially was standing in the post of Ries.
For me the moderator has to take a decision. I'll follow the moderator. Unless she agrees with the seller and Ries that actually the auction continues.

I'll explain what happened here. ries did post sold. But he does not like godaddy and the domain cannot be transferred out of godaddy due to recent contact info change and he does not wish to pay the renewal at godaddy. So he withdrew his bid. Following which I posted that auction continues. Now since moderator Amanda has intervened, I'll leave the decision to her if the auction continues or is over.

I apologize then for the misunderstanding. The withdrawn bid was reported but if the seller is fine with letting the buyer out of the binding agreement there is no rule violation.
