Anthropic recently highlighted that engineers using AI agents can ship 8x more code, and 8x upscaling/8x speedupsare standard benchmarks in vector search and machine learning. 88x doesn't exist as a performance metric, and 9x isn't a standard industry multiplier. 8x implies a realistic, massive performance leap for an AI workforce
