The Kuwaiti petroleum corporation
Owned it and developed it for decades.

I question the deal for one reason only.
The Kuwaiti Petroleum corporation does not need money to sell it. The value of its “Q8” brand exceeds the price of the highest domains sold.
Secondly, the domain will not go outside the walls of Kuwait country, because (Q8), as I said, is a famous abbreviation for the word “Kuwait” in the Arab region
