I was wondering just out curiousity, for example your site soapdiscuss is ranked 1,000,000 somthing in alexa with no page ranking. 52pokercards.com is ranked 400,000 something in alexa with a PR5.

How would you compare the value and make a good potential value IF these NUMBERS have an bearing.

52pokercards.com is a developed site with PR5.. I think that makes a huge difference in value. Not a very good appraisal!

I was appraising the domain name.
I wasn't aware these appraisals are for developed sites!
Perhaps there should be a site appraisal section? But the last time I checked this was a domain name appraisal thread.

The Domain Name has a PR 5 rank attached to it.. there's a difference.. if I sold my PR 5 domain, the rank goes with it, site or not, and makes a big difference in value.

Just that it's upsetting to see someone breeze in, make an offhand, unresearched appraisal that's not based on the facts.. your appraisal IMO was $0 < reg fee.. way off the mark, sorry!

It really isn't anybody's job to appraise the other appraisers. Just make your own appraisals and leave what you think of other member's appraisals to yourself.

And I'd still say low $xx nonetheless. It has PR0 without the 'www' and only shows 1 external link on Google with the 'www'. And the pixels on the site don't appear to have been sold, but are just affiliate links. If he's making any money off of those, that would be another thing, but we don't know that.

And PR barely means anything anymore.

PR can be manipulated as can Alexa, but it still needs to be considered. Do you mean you'd sell your PR5 for low XX on that basis?

I also have every right to point out what I see as a flaw in another appraisal.. for one, the appraiser might have simply missed a valid point, for another, the appraiser might be simply chiming in to rack up NP$.

We don't need parrots, we need insightful appraisals.

If he's making any money off of those, that would be another thing, but we don't know that.

i'm not good with PRs so sidestepping that domain and going to bingo forums, bingo is mostly luck, i don't know how one could have a whole site of forums dedicated to bingo discussion. Even if it is PR 4 or 5 i'd say this domain still has little practical value.

Bingo is a the fastest growing online game among women players, the future value is potentially very good, and yes people do just discuss bingo, its a community game.

Any buyer of 52pokercards.com who intend to develop the site to whatever they want could do pretty well. I thinks its an established site.

I agree there.. I own a good bingo domain myself (undeveloped as yet). Lots of high paying Bingo affiliate programs as well.
