$10-15 to a reseller probably.

A 10 second google search shows me 4LLL is "The 4-Look Last Layer" and has something to do with solving a rubiks cube. There might be other uses as well but I didn't look. Put up a website if you can with some tutorials and some ads and see how it does.

Fear not, you will find somebody to buy this domain from you!

Although it doesn't make COMPLETE sense (should maybe be "3LLL.com" or "4LLLL.com"), it still kind of makes sense. I think it would make a pretty good home for a domain reseller who is using it to showcase their LLLL 4 letter domain names.

It's nice and SHORT, it's got immediate value because it IS the search term people use - "LLL".

Or, a company like Larry's Loony Lifehouse Liquidators might have some interest...

again, doesn't EXACTLY make sense but it's really close enough. I think you could get $100-$200 for this domain, as is, and i don't think it would take a whole ton of work. You should develop it though to showcase the potential i just outlined, even if you don't have LLLL names for sale. The age is great for this purpose, too.

Lastly, it could be a personal site for somebody with the initials LLL. Selling it to that person would bring the value down, because there is plenty of other options for them.

Other than that i just said, it's worthless.

Although i said "without a ton of work", i did not say "easily". That's because, there really isn't a ton of work to be done besides waiting.

I also mentioned at the bottom of my post that outside of the very small niche of buyers (domainer looking for a showcase site for a specific type of domain), it is worthless.

Having purchased domain names from display sites for many years, i can tell you i've seen portfolios hosted on domains way crappier than this one. This one is only 3 chars, a .com, not a real word and yet i can take a good guess what type of domains it would have on it.

All we learned here is that the buyer isn't you, but despite that, it will definitely be somebody! The fact that the OP had competition at an auction reinforces that.
