Whoa, I am totally ashamed of myself, it took me MONTHS
to reach 40 posts... what a slacker!

I happened to notice the member post tallies, thinking
man, all these great numbers, members forever I guessed,
and please don't anyone take this personal,
or mis-understand, because I believe it's good having
many voices involved in the threads.... adding balance
and generating a wide array of views on important issues
concerning The Domains and Internet Life in general,
... but 1000+ posts a month? :lala:

In fact, the level of enthusiasm produced by this
anomaly I find invigorating and IMHumbleO believe
it has inspired many new and interesting dialogs.

That has got to be right up there with breaking the
4 minute mile. Some records have to be falling...
I fear that in some AOL chat room, somewhere,
a person worries about losing their crown. :blink:

Ya, it took me a couple months to get 1000 posts. I think 1000 a month is crazy. But if they are relevant, and quality posts, then go for it.

Ohh, I get you now. You have been an active, respected member for almost 2 years, and of course 2700 posts, 4+ posts per day assuming you visited and posted every day..., but I guess you only posted where you felt you could help the thread. Sorry for the mistake on my part.
I'm wondering now if you might be right, can someone avg. 40, 30, or even 20 relevant and quality (as Tom said) posts every day? Admin and Mod's could, I'm sure, and perhaps some members that have been Domaineers for years, if they had so much time for little else.... but who else would have the experience or knowledge to comment in depth on that many threads? Jeff, who patroled the Forum Sections daily, as was his job, his avg was only 27 per day..... hmmm...

Yea Badger, if by some you mean me, you would by right on target. Not everyone feels post = status, and for those that do, I think they are missing the point.
I want to learn from people like yourself and the other "heavy hitters" in this forum. This forum is important, and the opportunity and privilege of being a member seems not to be understood by some recently. I know you've noticed it, and so have many of the senior members. We dont see you guys around as much, and that sucks.
