Hi all. I promised to post the comments I got on the logos and here they are:
scissor - the reason you won was summed up by a woman marketing expert at my husband's client's office this morning. She said your logo is very original - she has never seen any like it. She said if my company gets large, the words in the logo will go away and my company will be instantly recognizable by the two building with their windows lit to form a K. She said the logo would grow with me. She said it looks good in color and black and white. Nice job!
sbongo - your logo was actually picked to be the most aestheticly pleasing of all the entries! My marketing woman told me it reminds her of the zoloft smiley bouncing circle. I am positive you will sell that logo! Keep entering it, it is amazing.
Guetizo - I love the K logo! It is so striking and I am drawn to it again and again. And I noticed that people either loved it (like me) or didn't like it at all. Very strong opinions on your logo! Also, your crane logo was a large hit. Using the crane as the letter "t" was really fun and interesting. Substituting letters with an object seemed to really work. A lot of people commented on it. It was a favorite! Unfortunately, people thought it was too hard core construction for me to use as a logo. My sister picked you as the #1 pick.
statd - your submission is super original and was very high on my list. I loved the "custom logo" feel. People mentioned it was a bit busy for their tastes, but I think the watermark made it look busier than it really is.
vivisin - Thank you for starting the posting! And your last post was really on target. It was fun, yet professional and original. The only issue is that it is too tall - and tall logos sometimes don't work visually on letterhead.
zanzan - my husband loved the look of your logo, but it was too "residential" for my company as we only do commercial work.
durinthiam & dada - I loved that you had a professional in your logos. It really hit home to me having worked on site in a skirt previously. The concern is that your logos say "architect" (not construction manager) because architects are who people automatically envision on site in a suit.
Lastly Koncepts. Your logo #2 was voted most upscale. Very slick and professional. It showed the size of the bulidng I like to work on. I also liked #3 a lot. Your logo #2 was in my top 3.
You guys are the bomb and I loved working with you!!!!!!!!! Good Luck in your endeavors!

dada - i almost forgot. I love your dog avatar!!!!!!
