Hi guys,

I'm new to this board and new to domaining too. I wonder if any of you could give any appraisals of 3dwebsport.com - in my humble opinion it's the most promising of all the 3d related ones I bought a while back.

If you have time could you also give me your thoughts on which, if any, of these domains is worth renewing?

Personally I would only keep these

3dhardware.co.uk
3dpeliculas.com

You have either got obscure extensions that no one I know uses like .eu or .info that are on their last legs, they do okay as tiny minisites but are next to useless as major ones due to respectability. No one can ever take a .info seriously in all honesty when it is up against a .com unless some serious investment is done.

I like the 3dpeliculas.com though, a nice name (is it Spanish?)...

3d hardware is going to take a while to come into its own so it is a long term punt, not a short term flip.

Thanks for the advice mate, I actually sold 3dhardware.info a few months back for $150 which was a good short term profit, so I think you're right about 3dhardware.co.uk being in with a chance.

Yeah peliculas is 'films' in Spanish, so that could be a decent bet for the future.

I went for 3dwebsport.com, 3dhomeviewing.com, and 3dhomevision.com after seeing similar ones being sold on sedo, although admittedly they were better like 3dhometheater.com, 3dhomeentertainment.com..
