It's when it's somewhere in the middle and there is more difficulty in assessing that you tend to get fewer responses here due to people not wanting to judge without being sure. While people still sell a number of bitcoin domains for profit, many domainers (@Eric_Lyon was the first to alert me to this trademark) still shy away from anything that can result in litigation. On top of the inherent lack of any meaningful terms/value, the trademark seals shut a $0 verdict for me.

There were some patent trolls trying to patent Bitcoin or even Bitcoin logo (which has copyleft btw.), but none of them were successful.

Bitcoin will probably become a general term or general trademark as a word, because of the enormous ecosystem around this cryptocurrency.

If you go and search in TESS you can notice the DEAD indication for both "BITCOIN" trademarks. The others like BITCOIN INDEX or Bitcoin.Guru ;D , etc. that are words combination and easier to patent have LIVE. So, if somebody patents 3dprintbitcoin or 3D Print Bitcoin, he could have a problem, but not because of the word "Bitcoin" iself.

I'm no TM lawyer (even if I am married to a lawyer), so I in many ways go by what others have said more than how much I understand of legal documents. But honestly, that was only meant to be icy on the cake - to focus on the TM issue is to create a strawman. The core problem is that the value is $0 even without a TM issue. I was merely saying that if he wasn't convinced by the previous arguments, here is one last thing to consider.

FYI there are actually lots of services from people offering physical bitcoins. Also other offline applications like paper wallets etc.

that being said, I don't disagree with any of the feedback from others in the thread. I have bitcoin3dprinting.com which I'm considering dropping for many of the reasons above.

I could be wrong but I feel it's a better name than 3dprintbitcoin and it's had 0 interest in 2 years

What is the true value of a fiat currency?
Generally,every central bank able to print fiat currency unlimitedly ,
the traditional internet banking system is easy hacked and dominate by central bank ,
Money should deserve freedom and not dominate by any party ,

Bitcoin should not restrict to be used on digital platform only ,
it should replace the intention of fiat currency ,
