Oculus rift, HTC, Sony and others are soon to release VR headsets. Meanwhile the development of 360 degree cameras is ramping up. The 360 technology will create a whole new way of watching movies. It will also create whole new ways of storytelling. The 360 degree view for example means that film crew members have to hide or be cropped out so they don't show up in the film.
Here is a teaser from the porn company Huccio thats working on producingg 360 degree porn
I think this will be huge. Anybody else started investing in this? Here are some of my domains:
360documentaries.com
360hentai.com
360househunt.com
360milfs.com
360bdsm.com
360mature.com
360shemale.com
360gayporn.com
Let's hypothetically say that 360 technology changes the world. I mean, it changes the way we eat breakfast, use the bathroom, have sex, etc. Let's say that it cures cancer, and adds 20 years to the average lifetime. Let's say it's the most effing awesome thing ever, in the history of mankind.
Even with that, will there be a need for 20,000 360 technology websites? Or will the majority of 360 technology be sold through a handful of major retailers?
Last time I checked there were around 5,000 drone .coms, and over 20,000 420 .coms. All registered by speculators who are anticipating these niches to be the most effing awesome thing ever.
Now, let's leave the abstract world of speculation and examine the world we live in, in the year 2015. I want to say that the most effing awesome thing to date is smart phones, tablets, and handheld technology. Tell me, have you ever heard of smartphonehousehunt.com? Have you ever wanked it at ipadmilfs.com?
You haven't? Well, why is that?
That's because the major real estate companies have developed apps that you can install on your smart phones, to do your house-hunting. And that's because every ipad has a browser, where you can view all your favorite milf websites. You don't need a special website just to hunt houses or view naked moms. And because you don't need a special website, you don't need a special domain name. Hence, the lack of a need for about 99% of the domain names for just about every niche everyone is speculating on, including this one.
*** Not to say you shouldn't be speculating. In fact I commend you for trying to get ahead of the crowd. But my suggestion is to purchase a handful of domain names that could potentially be used for practical websites, like:
diy360.com (taken)
360central.com (taken)
And now you've got me speculating. My vow to you is to reg at least one 360 domain name, and report back soon as I do.
