I have 9 mini sites (all .org/.net) on the wordpress platform (5 pages each) that are about 3-4 years old each that have adsense on them. The content and design is weak and pretty much useless/junk, so I think the value is in the age and the fact that I am still making $20-$30 a month in adsense and made $551.00 total for 2014. When I first started I was up to around $700 month adsense income (had about 15 sites then), but with all the google updates, it is getting less every year, so I want to sell them.
I also have about 16 domains only that are almost 1 year old that I thought I would sell (include in 1 package all sites and domains) as 1 lot on flippa. I am pretty much done with this area of "entrepreneurship" and want to move on to something else.
My sites have a paid theme (clickbump theme and seo) on it that I can't sell, so I am assuming I have to remove it and put on a free theme, also should I turn adsense off while I list it.
I also have some article directories that are old on the sites from ezarticlelink, that can be kept on/or not...as they have a free version. I have some pictures on the sites that I got off of google images, they are generic and were on quite a few sites...do I have to remove them to sell the sites????
I was hoping to list it on Flippa, not sure if I should do an auction and what to start at. I am nervous about selling for some reason, as I am not sure if I should delete the paid theme, turn adsense off? while listing, delete the article directory?? I am afraid I will be asked all sorts of questions that are above my head that I can't answer, or just be scammed somehow by my lack of knowledge. Then I am nervous about transfering the sites. I can't really offer any support if any newbies win the auction. I did sell one domain on ebay and it was easy to transfer so the domain transfer is not a problem.
Any suggestions on how to list this lot. I can prove the earnings and traffic which isn't a lot. Some have around 100 visits a month....some less.
They are all on go daddy and word press platform...do I just give them my wordpress log in and they can change the data...this is the area I am most nervous about. Also which comes first, transfer the domain name then give them my wordpress login info all at once, same day, do I need to wait any days for domain transfer to happen before giving wordpress info??? I am hoping to get at least 1000.00, should I do escrow only?? I am nervous about how to do the whole thing, what steps, how to prepare sites, what to say in ad, my gut says just be factual, no sales pitch type wording, and ask for patience in case I make mistakes or need extra time!! Should I offer my phone number in the ad in case people have questions?? I know there are tons of scams on flippa so I don't trust a lot of the buyers and then again, they might not trust me.
I would like to reveal the sites names here now but not sure if that is a good idea or not???? I think some have great potential if I must say so myself!!! But I don't know if it is "common practice" to reveal them in a questioning post such as this.
