I bought 3 domains that I thought are cool to have.

scionxp.com scion xp will come out in 2010 I know its 2 years from now but i think that is a good domain but don't know how much i should start selling it for?

same goes for

scionfuse.com i already ordered that car! I'ts scion tc just new version of it. how much can i get it for?

mrbrooks.info i loved the movie so i bought mrbrooks.info :) can i get any money for that?

PS: All sites are well established with some content already like mrbrooks.info has over 550 pages of pure startups content!

Well, Toyota has scion trademark, and scionXP definitely isnt generic. Dont think u will be able to keep domains, so 0$, imho.

Agreed. Trademarks IMO are not the way to go. Too much legal risk involved.

MrBrooks.info is a blog. Blogs depend on the quality of the posts, reputation of the person blogging etc. It also needs fresh content regularly. They can be hard to transition to someone else.
Perhaps someone who parked it for the traffic but it is likely that will fall off very quickly.

you think i could get sued?

Some good advice re TM infringement in my opinion.

My understanding is that you could get sued if you use the domains to sell or advertise in the field that the TMs are in i.e cars.

For TM domains, you may well get a demand to turn over the domain and you will not get compensated. There are companies that specialize in this work with many top brand name clients.
There were times where a company would pay you to get it but that happens a lot less now.

I really don't care about the domains I use them because i love scion :) if they take it that's fine :) i think i am in no danger to scion it self but hey you never know...i bet they will ask me to give them scionxp.com and scionfuse.com because those two cars are going to be deveeloped in 2009 and in prod 2010 :)

I dont think they will try and take those names from you because they already have a main site they can run their promos and adds at for those types of cars. However, IMO if you are smart you would turn those sites into some kind of forum for scion lovers such as yourself to discuss, trade, and talk about the scions and different add ons and extras that can be purchased. Hope this helps.

it is not about whether they need the website. It is to do with brand protection. It is their brand and they want to protect its reputation. They have build that brand with a lot of money sunk in advertizing. A forum might seem even more threatening to them since negative comments can be added.
The reaction depends on the company. Some companies are very aggressive about this and others let it go, at least for a while. Now with companies making brand protection their whole business, it has become much more aggressive.
In the end though of course it is up to you :) .
