Thanks for input. I did check out some of the NLL for other tlds, and it looks like their success/usefulness is a little spotty. 4NY.com, for instance, points to 4NY.4anything.com. 4NYC.com seems to be fairly solid.. Some resolve into good, active sites, while others (ie4DR.com), are parked and 4Sale.
My first extensive look at "4.example" web addresses was fairly suprising- didn't expect that genre/form of name to have been so heavily mined.
These names are a good example of why I like info and biz, (to lesser degree) so much- they read well. Excluding .com , (which through familiarity and use, has established it's own meaning and is an institution unto itself), if you were looking for info on a subject, (the major activity on the net), what tld would read the best to you?
