I'm considering selling 2it.com, but I want to research price ranges first. It's been a developed "start page" since 1998 but I haven't had time to work on it in a long time. It gets over 100 uniques a day. No trademark problems that I know about. Lots of folks use "2it" in their name (like zap2it or c2it) but no stand-alone 2it trademarks that I'm aware of.

Sorry if I gave too much info in my original post. Just curious if anyone has a guess as to value of the name itself.

The puny traffic to the site isn't that relevant, I was just tossing that in. Plus, the Feb Google algorithm update killed my position. You can't even get the site searching on "2it" right now, where I used to be position #1 page 1.

If you have time and want to get the most out of it you may try marketing it to those companies that have 2it in their name.

Really? So it would be valued the same as something like 6nq.com, which is absolutely meaningless and non-memorable?

Try developing a site with the domain name.

If I was a buyer, I need to see real-world potential before I can judge it's worth, what do you envisage the domain name to be use for? a content site? ecommerce? portal? forum etc.

Currently there are so many TLD's and SLD's, even if you think you have a really good and short domain it is only worth a amount someone is willing to pay.

Couple more thoughts. I have sold a nearly identical domain for $1250.
I think it's possible that you guys deal in such junky low end domains with silly extensions that you stay at the bottom of the barrel even when you see decent ones.
$20, $30. You guys are nuts.
