after much deliberation and intruction from others, network logos and anchors will not be part of the vbulletin header!!!
Here is what is finally decided on...

the following should be able to have the colors changed easily as im not final on my site colors yet, but the ones now are a good frame of reference.
PressForum.com logo. I would love it to have some kind of memorable logo like the namepros one.
PressForum.com vbulletin banner. Same same. Probably leave space to a sentence(in the nature of "discuss news with the people that bring it to you", somethang like that)

This contest is now for $$60 paypal to the winner.

hello all...thank you very much for your inputs. i have been sitting back and letting you get creative. here is the deal. this is a site i will be developing soon. i really like the concept. i am pushing the contest winner up to $60 paypal. i really want to focus on the logo. i want something fresh, memorable and professional. Sammy, the idea with the tv might not be a bad one, needs work though. I mean i am emphasizing the logo because it will be utilized a lot in the page and emails ets. all these banners look good, but without a hot logo they are just banners. please understand that i have always payed promptly and have even in the past payed 2nd place. I will probably only need one winner here though. I understand if you get impatient, i am in no hurry because i want the right one. If you are the person that wins you can always say you made my logo because i plan on having the page up for a very long time once i get it fully operational.
