i entered my SSN and the registration process just stalled all the time. i got the email asking me to accept the $25, but after i accepted it at their website, i still had to complete the SSN area of their application, and it wouldn't go through, and so the money is still pending. i'll probably call their customer service next week. we have 30 days to accept the $25 too, so thats good

Check buy.com's homepage.. they are offering $50 off a $51 purchase if you buy using the RME CC. Either it's a promotion or they're affiliated but it lends some legitimacy for anyone who's been hesitating.

Just to let everyone know: I received my $25 into my bank account today so this is definitely legit. You do need to provide SSN and verify your bank account tho.

I know they're affiliated with Buy.com but as to anyone else, I can't say. The big push is for the Revolution Money CC, which presumably you'd be able to use anywhere. Once they've got a debit card in place, like PayPal, I'd use them more extensively.

EDIT: I just got an email from revmoney.info on the program which purported to be an email from the Revolution Money founder introducing the program. The link redirects to what appears to be the correct site but it's not owned by them so beware.. make sure you go direct to the www.revolutionmoney.com or www.revolutionmoneyexchange.com site.

I guess we will see. Also i guess it makes it more secure with the ssn. They prolly check that against your bank account, to verify that it is actually you.
