Yesterday received one of my highest single ad clicks commissions of $ 21. Basket total $ 263. Commission level 8%. Network Amazon Associates. Niche is sport. Product is sports merchandise. Format is native ad within content (sports merchandise matches sporting event happening now ---- Olympic Games). Simple blog about sport with calendar as evergreen content. Took around one day to create from registering the domain name to completed website. Regular quick updates. Total time investment one hour weekly. One click pays for two years registration. Just an option if you have the inclination to develop.

Hello,
Congratulations. How much you will charge to develop a similar website that pays regular income? I may be interested to place order with you, if you are ready.
Thank you.
Haroon

I have never thought about it mate. Probably not worth all the effort for me to develop a website and then sell it to someone unless the offer was substantially more than the monthly revenue OR I didn't have the time to keep a site updated. Only been developing for a year and making enough already. Might change in the future if a domain name monetisation expert like @biggie wants to help. (y)

Hi

bait taken!

imo.....

Always appreciate your comments @biggie but in this instance you're wrong mate. There's nothing in any of my public or private posts on Namepros which even hints that I'm promoting a service. So your opinion in this case isn't based on anything I've said. But you're entitled to your opinion. My motivation is firstly to help people and secondly to learn things myself. There MIGHT come a point where I include affiliate ads in my posts on another website. @Bravo Mod Team have already told me affiliate links aren't allowed here. So many people on this forum moan bitterly about not making money from domain names. I'm saying GET OFF YOUR ARSE and do something about it. Not you personally but anyone who actually wants to monetise his or her domain names. That's why I have very carefully described the method I use and you can go ahead and copy it today. It's so easy to develop a website now that not if you don't make money with your names then not developing them is pure laziness imo. But @biggie in a way you're actually right because I took your bait. Cheers. :xf.wink:

If it was 1 hr a week for 9 weeks, then that's a little over $2/hr for the work.

On the plus side, I've been doing affiliate links on my websites since the 2000s and the great thing is, if the content is worthwhile, those 9 hours of work will continue to provide year after year.

As I understood it though, Google's Panda update from 2013 (I think 2013) hurt the rankings of a lot of the microsites. I didn't really undestand it but suddenly if you had a Wordpress blog with 5 articles and links, your traffic was drying up.

I've been thinking of setting a few up in niches I am familiar with but I've been busy with other stuff and haven't really been able to play with it.

@redemo Do your blog posts have dates? I was wondering if posting articles without dates would improve rankings or if no dates would mean not being ranked at all.

People are being skeptical because you cannot provide a screen shot of proof of earnings, and proof plays a vital role of giving us authority and legitimacy. If not then people will jump into conclusion that your just promoting this great business model to get client of affiliate website/s that being mention. So you forgot to mention about the starting cost of having a website. Hosting, Domain, SSL, Theme, Plugins that needed to be paid every month or every year. I am proud of what you achieved, and here at Namepros we are family that we cherish and we praise every individuals achievement and help those who needs advice. Again proof of what you say will remove all the questions that everyone has in mind, that you are baiting to get a client here. Honestly I haven't earn much on affiliate marketing and i have no time for the quality content that needed to get your commission going. Again, if this claim is true, let me congratulate you for your success, and to those who aspire to have the same, please make sure you have time for content and marketing, or else nothing will really happen.

@The CEO to be fair you can host many websites on a simple shared hosting plan for 50$ a year :) all expenses added up it won't go above 100$

This is just the appetizer, then additional cost for premium plugins and theme, but the main course is the content, basic seo and the quality of the niche chosen, I dont think that there is a service that will create a website, develop the affiliate and will provide you the content for you to earn a decent revenue monthly. What is certain is, Web creation for your affiliate site, then the rest is all up to you on how will you market it and develop for seo.

@The CEO premium plugins and themes are a choice there are free alternatives :) simple seo tricks can be done by a child in 2021 that just leaves content would be interesting to hear @redemo take on how he gets the content
