$20 Web Hosting Logo Contest

Hi again!!

I am in need of another logo...... this time it's for a web hosting site.

The domain is www.PolarisHost.com and I would like all designs to have the following text layout:

POLARIS
Web Hosting

The "POLARIS" takes up most of the logo, and should have some kind of bright star theme to it as Polaris the brightest star in the constellation Ursa Minor . My idea was to have the star's trail begin at the base of the "P", and "shoot" diagonally upwords to the right hand side, and finish with a bright star above the letter "I". I am only looking for 1 star.

I will leave colours up to you, but bright colours wold suit the theme/name well.

Vector would be fantastic!

Thanks everyone for all your entries.

I've decided to go with Guetizo's entry, the first design of the final revisions.

I feel that there was excellent emphasis on the star, nice bright colours, nice touch with the gradient. The gradient was definitely something new that caught my attention compared to Guetizo's previous designs.

Comments for the other new entries:

hive05 - I couldn't really get a liking for any of the fonts. I liked the horizontal streaks

JRayers - I was intrigued by your use of the star as part of the letter "A". You definitely made me think long and hard. Thanks!

EmanEvan - Thanks so much for your time. You also made it a tough decision with your nice entries. I liked your reflection effect on the text.

The_Ryan - I really liked the 2nd entry! Not sure if you meant it to be this way but it has a "Tommy H" look to it..... nice design!

PATRICK - I still liked your 1st design the best.

unprofessional - You should definitely change your username.... your logo was really professional, you gave it a real high class feel, I wonder how a star would of fit in instead of the pie chart kind of thing?

But as I have promised the contest to end at this time, the winner is Guetizo!
