$20 Logo contest

Hey All

I need a Logo and slogan for my site Cellyhookups.com.
We will be selling cell phone accessories.

Background Info on our name:
Celly is a slang/ hip hop word for cellphones
and of course hookups is hookups LOL

The concept is where everyone can go to get hooked up with GREAT prices on thier cell phone accessory needs.

If I see something I really like and decide to end the contest sooner I will annouce it and give everyone 1 days notice before annoucing the winner that will make it fair to all to have an opertunity to finish thier Logo and slogan and submit it.

I have confidence in this board and in you guys and gals and i know you have always put out some creative work.

Im very excited to see what you Guys and Gals can come up with in my case.

Also sylense entry was interesting... I liked the way he turned the k in hookups into a antena but didnt like the celly part.

ok, well the celly part of course was a manipulation of a battery cell but i guess i may be able to do another version

Nice looking - But I dont see any watermarks .... We require and encourage all Images to be protected by Watermark for Your own protection ~ Staff may remove any images that aren't protected in this way .....

Thanks for the comments Ghost, i fixed it up a bit and came up with this!

here's a 2nd version, modifications can be made... once again still full vector and can be changed to any color, any size, without loss in quality.

Sylense the art work is great but its too busy I think your first one was more in the right direction. can you try to change the celly part on your first entry?

EmanEvan your bottom entry is good I like the colors and the bars can you give it another look but still keep the bars and colors to it?

BTW, I can add more colors and even edit the colors for you for no extra charge. I just dont have the time to post more colors, but if you want to see more, feel free to request and I shall show more colors.

Hum...dont really know.......I do like it alot, but Its still missing something I just dont know what. SORRY (hum... maybe another text font) I dont know

However I can say that as of now your first entry is still up there as to my 3 favorites.

Sylense we getting there .......Lets try this.....first entry but just cut off the top part of the LL in celly. change colors celly in black and hookups in blue.

Lets see what that looks like.

statd very creative work but I think a bit busy for what im looking for.

I do like the eyes and mouth on hookups, can you maybe tone it done a bit on the rest?

i'm sorry l0zo but you have to change that cell phone and draw your own creation. that phone is an istock photo and due to their terms in the licensing contract you cannot use their images in logos or anything over 72 dpi. if this was just a web banner or something it'd be fine but it could not entail anything related to a logo or corporate identity.

here is a clip of some of the prohibited uses:

(c) use the Content in any posters (printed on paper, canvas or other mediums) or other items for resale;

(d) use the Content or any part thereof as part of a trade-mark, design-mark, trade-name, business name, service mark, or logo;

I do not mean to put you on the spotlight or anything but i'd hate for you or the buyer to get slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit if this surfaced.
