20$ Banner contest!

Hi, I am having a 20$ banner contest for my new forum www.qnhl.com. The forum is active, and I need these banners for banner exchange. Note that we will have games and prizes in the forum.

These are some criteria I like to see in the banner:
-you should use the logo (or part of it) in the banner
-it should be catchy! The goal is to attract hockey fans to visit the forum!
-it should have the colors of the forum
-it should be animated.

I need a few diffrent sizes: 468 x 60, 234 x 60 and 120 x 60

You should include messages like:
"Do you feel the the hockey fever?" followed by "Visit QNHL.com, the Quality NHL Forum" followed by "Read the latest news, share rumors, watch goals and fights, trade equipments, play games and win prizes!!!" Some emphasis on winning prizes might be better.

You can adjust that text to whatever you feel like it gives better CTR. May be reordering the text or rephrasing it will be needed. Feel free to use your imagination here.

Winner will be paid by paypal.

The contest ends on March 3rd 10pm, unless someone comes up with a great banner before that.

Are you more interested in animated banners or static ones?

BuyandSwap, it's a good start, but I would like to see more hockey in the banner. I also mentioned that I like to see the logo.

My main interest is the 468 x 60 one. The other two can be very simple.

I mentioned that I want animated banners. Again don't put too much effort in the small ones. The 234 x 60 can be just a scaled version of the 468 x 60. And the smallest one can be anything simple.

SouthernEssence, the idea is nice, but I feel there is something missing. I think you should work on the fonts. I like the idea of the stick and the puck, try to improve it more.

hive05, very good entry. I like the background and the size and position of the text. Try to work more on the color of the text (the blue in "play games" for example doesn't look nice) and the fonts you chose. By the way, who are the two players in the background?

Nice entry hive05, I see improvement here. I like the new text fonts. But you can see the fonts of the right side needs also improvements. Also "do you feel the hockey fever" has to have something special in it...some more life...like some fire, I don't know exactly...but use your imagination. Also I want some emphasis on wn prizes...Plus the last message "Click here now" has to show for a bit longer time.

P.S: Again who is the new player?

to view a .swf file just save the zipped file to your hard drive. Unzip it, right click on the file and "Open with" your browser (IE, Netscape, etc). A new window should pop up with the file showing in it. Hope this helps.
