how much would you appraise a 2 character domain name such as:

If it only costed $10 per year to own it, it would have good value but seeing as the fee is $1000 Id say little value, I wouldnt buy a name like that knowing I'd have to pay 1k to renew it.

That's just ridiculous.

This domain is just a Moniker glitch if the reg. fee is less $10

Another reason, along with no transfers and amateurish marketing that .ws is'nt going anywhere. Makes you wonder what the folks running this extention are smoking. Get rid of the sleazy get rich ads and set realistic prices and terms or the bank will be taking this back in foreclosure.

I agree that their marketing plan sucks and doesnt help them/the extension.

As far as pricing well .tv has premium pricing and .tv is a country code, just like .ws so although I dont like the pricing myself, they certainly arnt the only greedy cctld/tld company out there, the mtld are another good example of a $ hungry company auctioning off the top names... I dont see a difference.
