Short, catchy and brandable IMHO.

Please appraise :)

Thanks,

I have never seen any appeal in domains that substitute a letter for a number and this one is no exception. The term brandable must have varying concepts because trying to explain via word of mouth is difficult - "India.in but substitute the first letter for a one".. it just doesnt flow. It also has little value in search engine positioning, the only reason it would get SERP listed as anything to do with india is the extension, quite ironic. I value this at reg fee but I wouldent personally buy it for that.

Reg Fee to low XX. Domains with numbers replacing letters are confusing to the visitor.

1ndia is not just replacement of "i" with 1. It's a message saying "One India" - "United India". I firmly believe this domain has more value than simply reg. fee.

If you were living in India, you'd have surely seen Reliance's ( India's leading telephone service provider ) holdings saying "1ndia - One India One Rupee". That is an ad suggesting you can make calls anywhere in India at flat 1 Rs/min.

Thank you for your time :)

"One India" would be "1india" or "oneindia". See what I'm saying, its hard to market it without confusing the enduser. You would have to say 1 "ndia"

The strategy should be targeted towards getting the folks who own india.in to buy this domain.

JMO, Thanks

If you sell it on ebay you might persuade someone to part with $10. But no value really at all.

Pratik, I would say you probably have done more research on this name than anyone else here at Namepros. That being the case, I would guess that you will probably find an end user, or someone else in India would will find this name "catchy". I don't know the value, but I'm sure you will wind up with more than "reg fee". Just my opinion, though. But, let us know if if, and when you sell it.
Good luck

Frank
