19pages is the newest and best software on the internet for developing mini sites and developing them fast!

My name is Mark and I created 19pages. It's free to download and use to build your minisites.

With 19pages you can add, edit, and delete articles with ease, it doesn't use a database, and no programming is required.

Check out 19pages and leave a comment below letting me know what you think.

And you can't beat the price :) Download the Free 19pages

Thanks for checking it out ya'll.

Please note a couple people reported it's adding slashes to quotes in the articles. Like if you post "mark" it makes it \"mark\"

this isn't the problem of 19pages, rather some servers have security set real high.

I should have a fix in a few days.

It only affects a few people.

Installed as the website says, right into the root.

Warning: unlink(../articles/fpage.dat) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in /home/refiweb/public_html/battleofthermopylae/admin/edit.php on line 91

I also get this when I try to change the admin password.

Warning: unlink(../config.php) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in /home/refiweb/public_html/battleofthermopylae/admin/settings.php on line 126

Not trying to turn this into a support thread, but I was curious as to whether anybody else had similar issues.

highlifelight,

The files need read and right access by the account owner. Permission denied means they don't have this access. Most times you can give them access by using CHMOD during upload but every host is different.

For instance in my ftp client (filezilla) I can simply right click a file and view/change it's permissions from there.

Worked a charm. Might want to add this bit to your install section of the website.

Thanks!

I'm really glad it worked for you highlifelight.

"Might want to add this bit to your install section of the website."

Yes I've been thinking of an install section or forum or some sort of additional help on my website. Thanks for your input.

Mark

I am having difficulties with it. Had to upload 5 times now and still have nothing. Everytime I try to make a change, it locks me out. No more login or webpage.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

C.

are you using an apache/php server? I've never heard of this type of trouble. You can email me at mark @ 45n5.com with more details if you still need some help.

I do like that it doesn't use a database, but I don't like how it wants me to have everything in the root directory. I installed it into a test folder, and it keeps giving page not found errors because of this.

I thought it was going to be an auto updating script that pulls RSS feeds for some reason (maybe because most minisite scripts seem to do that) but this one requires manual article addition. I'm not saying that's bad, just mentioning my mistake so others who are thinking the same thing don't get confused looking for the RSS feed box.

I'll try and set up at least one site with it, and offer a more detailed review. Thanks for the free script.

Thanks, I'll try it out soon, already downloaded it. :P Just wondering, is it possible to modify to code for personal use?

"I do like that it doesn't use a database, but I don't like how it wants me to have everything in the root directory."

You are correct. It has to be in the root directory or on a subdomain.

"I thought it was going to be an auto updating script that pulls RSS feeds for some reason"

I have seen some people use an rss auto script on the pages but I'm not sure which one they used.

"this one requires manual article addition."

yeah, no fancy stuff. Just a no frills way for somebody to make a minisite without having to fool with php includes or learning html.

You made some good points and thanks for sharing ;)

is it possible to modify to code for personal use?

Yes. I didn't encode the php so you can see it and modify it to make whatever solution you need. Just please don't redistribute 19pages or any version of it. But for your own personal use, modify away!

There is also a support forum over here for questions, ideas, or tips:

In order to fix the problem "Only in root directory" you could change / to ./
I did it manual but I did not know if I fix all of them
