I've owned this domain since 1999. I bought it because it had significance in my life at the time.
I regularly get emailed offers for it, but have never felt they were adequate.
I think I should be able to get $5000+ for it now, and wonder what you folks think?
If you don't think its worth $5k yet, when do you think it would be worth that?

If the 6 was a 9 (i.e. 1942.com etc) it would be worth over $5k IMO.

Unless a buyer has a historical reason to want 1642 or its a serviced office block (i.e. 1642 Some Avenue etc) its unlikely to be worth more than $3K IMO.

There might be other reasons of interest but its likely to be a punt for a hobby etc. so unlikely such a person in those circumstances would offer more than $250. Which is clearly undervaluing it.

Unfortunately for you though, there is a "4" in the number which is often considered bad luck in Asia.
