150.00 Logo Needed

I am starting a site called Guitarampsforsale(dot)com.

I need a good logo to go in the site that sells guitar and bass amps.

Here is a mock up of the site.

Contest rules:

1. Please use watermarks so scammers don't steal
2. Winner will be announced 7 day from today.
3. Winner will be paid 150.00 via pay pal OR NP equivalent but its up to the winner!

I want the logo, and then the motto:

Buy it, Sell it, Crank it

Should "Guitar Amps for Sale" be in the logo, or should it just be "Guitar Amps" followed by the motto?

Also, since you are selling amps and not guitars, is it OK to put a guitar in the logo?

In the lake for sure. It's good, but I am not sure I'm sold on it. I don't know really. Maybe make it look like tweed or a mesa boogie. Its missing something but having said that it might be a winner, who knows.

This is cool, maybe just the text and the sweepy motion.

Also, it does NOT have to be the same as the website regarding colors. It CAN be different as long as it compliments the website

Im not sure Jed. Maybe a logo and the name, or maybe just the name. It does not have to be the colors of the website, just something simple that looks legit and pops.

nguyen is on to something but I still don't see any really good "amps". The texts are awesome, but the AMP's are lacking.

Just a suggestion (question)!
You have 'Guitar' and 'Amps' in the the title (text). Do you really need an image of an Amp? I'm not sure if you are looking for branding or not.
