I have extended it yes, reasons being:

The highest bidder was out bid by them first deadline, and I wasn't going to play them off on each other by pm'ing left and right, this is a better solution, I was planning just to sell them, but now it will go to the highest bidder, in just 45 minutes.

No one topped that bid before your deadline.

when the first deadline went, I had a 25 and 26 dollar bid, both by pm and I was asked that if someone bid higher, id let them both know, which i did.

I let them bid on the post, so that they could both be happy, thats why I extended the deadline.

I agree! The auction should have ended as you said.

You extended it earlier, but you had a "fair" reason.

Taking a higher bid after your end time is unacceptable! :imho:
