Please tell me what step or steps I've missed in getting this
online file uploader to function:

It's probably pretty basic to you who are familier with .cgi scripts -
but if it looks too complicated or time consuming, thanks anyway.

i knwo this sounds stupid, but have you definately got cgi installed on your server, not sure if that is it but it seems like it could be the problem, if it is that your host does not support cgi, if so it looks like it supports asp, therefore you would need an asp file uploader

Hi lee101, no, that is not a stupid question. I assumed I had .cgi (I thought that was pretty standard) but apparently I have ASP -b as part of my Hosting package.... so it looks like I'll need to check out your link. thank you very much for your response - I will get back to you if the script works.
