Single digit .coms are not available to register, it is just a glitch with your registrar. They were available at one time but that was a very long time ago.

Several 1 letter domains are already in use but the ones held by the registry and "if" they were offered, I'm sure would start around 1 Million! Why? Only ten numbers (including 0). Only 26 letters.
