$0.01 clicks?

I'm on Oxado at the moment, and the first few clicks were fine, about $0.40 each. But after the first day it just plummeted, now average about $0.01-$0.03 a click.

I'm not reallyout to make a lot of money but having ads with a bit of a payout at the end would be nice. But not a 0.01 per click, are all CPC's like this? Google did the same to me.

Mabye it's the type of ads Oxado is putting on my site, they say theyre relevant but its all 'Homeowner loans' and that junk.

Anyone else with Oxado experiences?

I've never used Oxado, but I have used AdSense and YPN. The way it works from the other side is advertisers bid on keywords. If more advertisers bid on the same keywords, they need to out bid each other so their ads are shown sooner. It could be that your site topic isn't a popular keyword for advertisers, so they can get away with paying 1 cent per click.

Haha yeah that's probably true, I wouldn't pay either to advertise on a site like mine :/

How could I increase the CPC? I get the odd €0.40 click so somebody mst be paying up. I don't really fancy changing my sites direction

Well, if you are consistantly getting these really low payouts, perhaps you should look at a different advertising option.

Have you tried selling your own ad space? There is an awesome For Sale / Advertising Board here where you can sell your own links and banners or whatever .

this is problem on Oxado side, all of their publishers are having the same problem plus it seems like they don't pay (I am not sure about that yet, but I have this weird feeling that they don't)

That replies to my riddle as well. It was a problem that some times clicks are valued higher while many times the cpc is way too low.

I just got my payment, few days later, but I am still happy :D
