"The + Unpopular term" in .com = no.
"The + Popular term" in .com and there are thousands or tens of thousands of endusers for "The + Popular term"= good.

Guess you would use THE where you would wish to stand out as special, as the only one that matters most.
Compare "You are THE man" with "You are man".

"The" reduces the value by 100-1000 times depending on the specific case.

So, the combination without "the" has to be worth $xxx to $xxx,xxx for "the" version to have some value.

I have "TheJungle.co", which makes sense but of course "Jungle.co" would be preferable.

The gap would be much wider however with a name like "forest" and "theforest", as "TheJungle" is much more commonly used in common vernacular. You know - it's where the lion sleeps tonight.

You might tell the end-user that usually when " the " is on the left it is most often added when the specific subject name is already taken.

Also IMO, mention that it is likely type in type traffic may type in the subject name without the " the " sending traffic elsewhere.

By the way, is it feasible for you to also acquire the domain name with " the " on the left?

Will the potential buyer grab up the " the" name?

'the' is a great prefix for domain name, usually .com's

but without it is preferred because shorter.

Best to own both Thekeyword.com and keyword.com
