The .PRO Discussion

InvisionTech · Sep 17, 2008

It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

Yesterday I have caught the one of .PRO-drops...
The same day it has been sold for $1K (passive sale as always for me, Bodis-form)...
Just started this transaction via Sedo-escrow (3% or min. $60)...
The domain name you will see at DNJournal soon... don't want to publish here...

This is my 6th .PRO-sale.
High $xxx per domain in average.

Today this transaction has been cancelled by Sedo's escrow.
NO payment. Buyer disappeared.
Per my experience - 3rd such case with Russians.

Louis was me. Also:

Infinite.pro

As they still are so cheap, I don't mind to grab one or two a week. Not all of them are great, but for the right end user, it might be the right name.

Ps. 375K is GREAT.

According to NameBio, there are only 2 transactions for .PRO in 2016 till now:
bailbonds.pro 3,500 USD 2016-04-17 DN80
bicycle.pro 3,892 USD 2016-01-25 Sedo

The market for this .PRO sounds very small...I think so.

"Less is better": This means .ORG 0.15 is the best? hmm...
