Honestly, this domain needs deleting. IMO.

I think you should just delete this from your account and forget about it. I think that the chances that you will ever find a buyer are very very low.

I would not listen to the comments from Hintergedanken.

This is a fantastic domain! Do not delete this domain!

I am brand new to this industry so please be patient with me if I am overlooking the obvious but I do not understand your appraisal of this domain.
Am I missing something...

One of my personal rules is never to hold domains in my account that are worth less than $100.00.

This is because renewal rot will eventually put domains worth less that $100 in the red anyway. If you hold a domain in your account that has no value, you are putting good money after bad.

Therefore, deleting the domain will:

1. Prevent further monetary loss.

2. Allow you to focus 100% of your energy on profitable activities.

3. Improve your overall portfolio by removing domains that have little or no value.

I have no plans to delete this domain from my account until it is sold! ;D

I have been applying to Sedo's Great Domains auctions for 3 years (approx 100 - 200 domains) and have never had ONE domain accepted until now, that domain being Opioids.net! It may not be worth thousands, but it apparently must have some value as Sedo is VERY particular! A few days before my domain was accepted to Great Domains I was joking that I could submit Wine.com and they would reject it. LOL

And you are correct imagineimagery, opioids are not going anywhere, anytime soon. Opioids are not limited to illegal drugs! The fact is, opioids are a huge market: Codeine, Vicodin, Morphine, Methadone, etc. (legitimate opioids used for pain relief or heroin addiction). All narcotic painkillers are opioids (anything derived from the opium poppy).

So if I may query further; why does opioids.net not fit these criteris for you?
Or is it that the domain is simply not worth more than high $xx for you?

I just don't like this domain.

It's a .NET and not network related, it's not a common word, it's not brandable, it's hard to spell, and the number of potential buyers is extremely limited. Even Estibot which is infamous for high appraisals only values this at $5.00.

It's just plain bad and not worth anything.
